On a WIP file with about 40+ materials embedded in the MXS file, all of these materials were needed to be copied into another project file. All the materials were exported using the Material Editor, but on importing into the second MXS file in Studio, the import tab only allowed one material import at a time, with each import asking for 'Embed in Scene, Keep as MXM Reference, Cancel'.

As a wishlist improvement, can the import tab include the option to import all MXM's and select a common option from the tab, ie. Embed in Scene / Import All.

You can drag and drop many MXMs from file browser to studio material panel.
But it's going to ask if embeed or reference in every one of them.
