Before I buy it, does anyone have any experience with FumeFX with Maxwell? I'm using Maxwell for 3ds Max, and I really want some nice explosions and fire and smoke and stuff.

maxwell render support vdb, and fumefx export vdb files so you can render with maxwell but first try demo version before buying
