Hi

I have tried installing the new studio v4 on 2 different machines, and on both systems the layout is not working. All the trays are stacked on top of each other, and i get the error "layout file format is not valid"... the same error appears when i try to load any other layout from the "window" menu.
Any suggestions?

I guess your are using high resolution screens and the first version released (4.0.0.5) .Am I wrong?

In that version there is an issue related with loading layouts in high resolution screens, which should be fixed in 4.0.0.6 version.

Anyway, which platform are you using with Studio? OSX, Windows or Linux?

Yes, i'm using high reslution screens (one setup with dual 1440p and another with an ultrawide), and i'm on version 4.0.0.5.
I'm using windows (7 on one and 10 on the other)... is 4.0.0.6 available yet? it sounds like it might fix the problem for me

Already working on 4.0.0.7, so 4.0.0.6 version going trough signing, validating an uploading process. Should be online soon.

I dont know if this is a solution for you, but a workaround to avoid this problem until next version is released could be work with a lower resolution, like 1920x1200, and set a layout again.

Anyway, as luis.hijarrubia next version with this fix should be online soon.

I'll try the work around with the lower resolution until the next version is available... although it hurts my eyes a bit

Sorry for this. Actually 4.0.0.6 it's already uploaded to the main webpage. That's not how we used to work. And we hope to have a better workflow for releases, with proper version notes, history of versions, early builds system for v4... I'm trying to get an official version note for 0.6 so i can paste in forum.

Meanwhile I can say no big changes on 0.6, but stability, issues with drivers, resolutions, fire and studio stability...

Sorry for this. Actually 4.0.0.6 it's already uploaded to the main webpage. That's not how we used to work.
