When I hit render in 3ds max, scene is exported to temp.mxs and automatically opened in maxwell renderer which indicate rendering process - that's correct, everything render correctly.
But when I export it to mxs format and open in maxwell studio , then after hit the render there I see that spectral file for my IES maxwell emitters cannot be found.

As you can see there is incorrect IES lobe

correct one should look like this:

Icon to browse files correctly point to good location

I perform copy of file to better named folder structure
Opening file with maxwell renderer has also same issue.
Material is converted from maxwell emiter object in 3ds max

I struggling with this and I have no idea.

Code: Select all
When I want to see preview in material editor in maxwell studio - same happen. ERROR: - Spectral file not found ( (null) ) in Material "MxLight028_oltarz"
ERROR: - Data preprocess failed. Render cannot continue

Of course I also opened scene which is saved in *\AppData\Local\Temp location after hitting button in 3ds max but same issue again.mv C:\Temp\MOD_9X365052+93360025_54W.IES C:\Temp\MOD54W.IESOpening file with maxwell renderer has also same issue.
