Does anyone know of any sources for a pack of 3D human models (preferably free) just in various standing and sitting positions. Or could someone help me out. I've got some from axyz but they look a bit weird... odd looking positions and sort of alien appearance. These are about 10 years old though so maybe things have moved on a bit. I'm looking for something a bit more refined, maybe a simplified 3D shape if that even exists. I'm also trying not to go near Poser.

I was going to suggest AXYZ (pronounce 'axis', apparently!). They have a lot of new content but it's paid for, I'm afraid.

Other than than, I guess it's off to TurboSquid where there is quite a bit of free stuff (but most of the good stuff is paid for).
