Hi!

Any chances for zones to work with emitter "mask" also? Sometimes I get small emitters very noisy compared to large ones and extra work is needed to render twice...

Best regs.

No no, what I mean is SL for lights with multilight enabled. So it's possible to render e.g. sun and sky to SL15, inside emitter to SL20, and IES to SL25.

I see, but that won't speed things up if you're rendering the pixels of the entire image. You can do a test without ML, rendering first Sky for example to 18, then only IES to 20 and see what the combined time is, compared to just rendering with ML to SL 20 in one go. I usually save the ML channels separately and apply heavier denoising to the noisiest ones.

I had scene with lots of IES, HDRi and some small and some big filling emitters. With SL 18 IES lights were as noisy as SL9-10 so there was no other way then rendering second pass with IES only. If I have some time I can prepare and send it.
