Fairly complex scene, I'm working on, first render with the beta, black bars appear (with ML), 2nd render ML off - no black bars. Will update post if they return without ML being on.
EDIT: I did a third render with ML on, and no black bars this time... maybe its a rare glitch. EDIT2: I noticed the problem relates to a thin-sss material, and its thickness map, or maybe the calculated thickness (turning off the map = no more black bars)

Also I'm still seeing that global bump map on unlinked imported mxm's is being lost if opened with mxed (maybe a c4d plug issue). This was bug has been present in all versions of MW3 (and I've posted twice before about it)
I think this is an awesome release, really useful improvements, and the tonemapping on the hdri sky looks much better.
I do think there are some serious issues with the documentation that the installer links to. Both the tone in places, and certain 'tips', such as speed up your render by using coatings for shiny plastic etc? < really??
