not sure where I apply my custom alphas??? I added new channels in output under custom alphas but see where to add those. Is it through object properties ? but didn't to connect in output....

In Object Properties, you will find a Custom Alpha Channels field, where you can enter the name(s) of the alpha channels you want for the object.
