obvious wish i guess, but that would be very nice.
it is taking pretty long on some scenes and all but one core are jobless in the meantime.

for animations some sort of local caching on the nodes would probably be even better.

I had the impression that grass has improved greatly in v3 regarding generation time and memory usage, but maybe i'm wrong and just used lower settings...

But yes, mutithreading would be helpful! +1 :)

And maybe an option to store the generated grass, which wouldn't be useful only for animation but also for test renderings or if the grass work is finished and doesn't need to change anymore.
Most of the time i'm using referenced grass objects in Sketchup, because the SU plugin is limited to one grass modifier per object and i get more flexibility in Studio. So if there would be an option
to save the grass geometry this would be great!
