so for those tuned in lately heres whats happened so far: sqwall, beeing an absolute beginner, accidentaly omits to mention that beside using mw to render next limit logo has he also used digital camera for a little thingy called shooting a car thus producing a masterpiece worthy perhaps of a blender gallery.

tom (12), hoping that man with most posts gets to be a moderator or even perhaps a career with next limit, finds himself threathend by this newbie (epecialy because a camp of handsome toreadors is building outside: they live in a remote willage of willariba, have never heard of compositing and are anxious to learn from a joung master). so, tom takes things in his own hands, and rightfully speaking in the name of the whole community (the man with most posts and dont you forget it!) catches the young one sleeping with the camera!

alas, poor sqwall (17) turns 21 instantly and leaves town to live in a monastery!

tom (11 now), realising what he has done, tryes to smoothen things out, but not because he realises the mistake but because he knows this is the etiquecy on the forums and coz he wants his old influence back.

disciples of the both side engage in a bitter hair pulling coz this is how rel sissies fight.......and it goes on for ages......untilll......one day.....mihai fires the gun, well who else than a paranoid frechie immigrant, let us go a little national why dont we?

cant wait for the next episode. will squall find god in the monastery? will tom finally find a job? will mihai get to fullfill every frenchies dream and become a german? and will next limit ever make a good render???

There's no need for tales you invented. Here's a small fact below:

I asked for a "raw unprocessed" one to see his wonderful post-processing work that I respect.
He sent this (as is) and the problems arise:

you have rights not to show or if you decide to show it, then it must be true.

....then the storie continues, someone comes and not to give people peace but war instead, and makes just 2 posts to not talk about 3D, to not talk about renders, to not talk about Maxwell.......2 posts to insult!.........I guess this someone is in the wrong forum right now!

So yet again I have to say that it was my mistake that I did not mention that my work was post processed over maxwell render. Yep and I did post and early version of the image that was already has post-prod on it (because I did not have the raw one at my work).

So this whole thing is finished for me

Everybody has the right to speech freely but after they took their time reading the whole post not the first page only.

At page two there is an image explaining what and how post-prod I did.

I am not a purist and I seek perfection in my works using all of my capabilities and software. This image was made to be shown in CGtalk / Evermotion / DeviantArt forums, but I respect Next Limit and I felt that the image has its place in their Maxwell Forum because the root of the image is purely Maxwells.

So stop biting each others and be friends.

For me I can say that my feelings for this forum are very messed right now and I think that will not post anymore images here. Not because of the numerous mocks in this thread but because of the childish attitude of all. Even me.

I am sorry that my simple mistake and oversight done this thing (if I can call it thing) that happens here.

Sqwall, thank you for sharing your "Mixwell" technic. Great.

For me it is a very hard problem to get a dielectric material noise free, if the light go two times through it. A car is a good worst case object. The light come from the source and go inside the car and than outside to the camera. Your multipass technic is a great help here.

I think I like the results of the mult-pass technique better than ones using noise-reducing filters as far as clarity goes. I also think that the layering method used made the image a little strange-looking - I guess darker - and could be better.

Everyone here is aware that noise with plastics and dielectrics is a killing issue with M~W. Sqwall has used a practical, tried-and-true method for producing a commendable image. He has given me an idea of how to overcome a problem I'm having with another renderer.

I won't comment on the rest of the discussion because I didn't see the original posts. The thread as it is just leaves me confused. I will, however, agree with Smeggy and jep, just because I want to impress them.

Holy CRAP! i have been reading this thread, for over an hour now, had a jam doughnut, laughed my ass off, gone to the bathroom, changed clothes and after all that STILLL see no more than one image......But none the less, i feel it is time to tuck Tom and squall into their cribs and kiss them good night.
