I agree with Jep totally, the people who 'rubbished' Sqwall's work just because it contained post-processed elements should be thoroughly ashamed of themselves.

For about the 20th time, it's not because he post processed it....read why people were suspicious, read the reason for that suspicion. It didn't do any good when sqwall posted the already post processed image when asked if he could post the initial image.

Frankly it wasn't such a big deal, everybody exaggerated a bit, no worries, until some people cross the line and I can't stand for that, sorry.....

Somehow this thought is out of context. This is a pre-release software-beta process. It is expected that we need to see the potential of the engine itself. Is that not enough common sense?

Maxwell render is essentially a piece of software that allows the facilitation of CGI constructs, just like FinalRender, Brazil R/S or any other standalone or plug-in renderer - but it does not mean that this software, in it's final form or not can NOT be used alongside tried and tested techniques that allow for better imagery

As long as we know upfront how much of it is Maxwell, then post process all you want.

Sqwall, has now correctly amended his post and also later-on identifies the post-processing elements involved. So the situation is now resolved. As far as I am concearned Sqwall is now cool

silly pleonasms is all that's left when you bring a discussion down to the level you brought it. Maybe you've lived too long in LA-LA land, you forget how to have a normal argument with normal people.

This entire forum is virtually left unmoderated, we don't have silly nudity warnings (or "partial nudity" warnings ), no closed threads, because people don't cross the line.....or if they do it's not "you whining bitches". We like to keep it this way, even if 0.01% of the users have.....issues.

Shame to waste my first post on such a silly thread, but maybe you guys should start another thread to continue this "discussion" (cough, flamewar), and delete 90% of the posts in this overly bloated thread. This the the User Gallery, not the debate forum.

It's just annoying when I'm trying to browse these works of art.
