With the incredibly sad, sad news that Autodesk is foolishly axing Softimage after v2015, can Next Limit confirm that they will continue to support the Softimage plugin up until Autodesk's self-imposed limit of April 30th 2016?

Yes, they tend to do that routinely

From their perspective I can understand they have an absurd amount of product overlap though. Maya AND Softimage AND 3DS is an excessive portfolio and the 3 programs are like ~65% overlap with each other.

That being said, maybe they shouldn't be buying redundant software...
