I use DAZ Studio. DAZ has two buttons in the viewport.

Object-View-Button: If I press that button the current viewport jumps to the selected object and so that the selected object is in focus
Show-All-button: If I press this button the current viewport zooms out until I can see all existing objects

If one has a scene with a huge amount objects those buttons are very helpful to move around pretty fast.

In Studio you do this with the C key (frame selected), Shift+C (frame scene). They are also available by right clicking in the viewport.
