When i do test renderings over network it's really annoying me that every time i have to confirm the settings in the network render dialog.
And that every time the dependencies have to be checked...

I would like to have a button (or a checkbox) that allows me to skip this setup process and just start the render with the last settings directly from Studio or the plugin.
(It would be nice, if i could even change the file names (scene/output) and it would work the same.)

at some point for v3 i'd be great if rendering to network was only one click from within the host app. (all network parameters can either be set directly in the host app output options, or in the host app. you can choose from presets which are predefined in the network monitor)

asfaik this is not possible right now without using 3rd party sw tools

it's one of those small things that only take a few seconds to do the 4 or 5 clicks each time but when doing hundreds of render tests one after the other, it gets extremely annoying and the time starts to add up. It wouldn't be as annoying if all of those clicks were actually needed but the fact that they aren't makes it quite annoying

For me the setup out of rhino almost works like that. The only thing's that could be implemented would be the choice for "Cooperative" and the "Disable Dependencies". That would be my only concern. I don't think it makes sense to implement the choice of nodes to the main app ...

for "test renderings" i suppose a checkbox for "use all available nodes" within the host app. is sufficient.
but that is needed, otherwise we still need to go through additional dialogues.

Actually ... why not! I usually have to select the nodes manually as I don't want to take the nodes of people who are currently working on their machines, but if this "use all nodes" is not selected it would bring up the dialogue to select the nodes.
I'm really putting great hopes into the Maxwell 3 in terms of the networking rendering!

Yep, if in that dialogue, the "last selected" nodes would be automatically reselected upon next render, all it needs is another enter or another checkbox in the host with "use last settings" as numerobis originally suggested
