I am currently involved in working on a scheme that has undergone a lot of changes to the materials of walls and floors etc.

I noticed how the list of materials in Maxwell was growing ever larger and more confusing. I am hoping I can easily automatically clear unused materials out of maxwell, I have already purged the Sketchup model, but the changes are not reflected in the maxwell control box.

any ideas?

The list of materials in Scene Manager > Material is taken from SketchUp's own list, and the code is listening both for new materials being created, and for materials being removed, so I'm not sure how it is that you could end up with more materials showing up there, than in the SketchUp list. When this happens, what is the effect of closing and re-opening the Scene Manager?
