It seems it doesn't happen with global bump, but it does with the BSDF bump and instanced object. It should be easy to reproduce, I've just made a new scene that shows it.

This happens with bump in the BSDF (Instance on the left, original object on the right):

I found also a strange behaviour if I put the bump in global and BSDF at the same time:

Hello Fernando,

Glad to see you.

Sadly I can not reproduce your fail.

Here I have one object and its instance, with a bump map applied to the Global Bump, and as you can see, there is no difference between them.

Am I missing something?

Cheers

Hola Darío,

Mirrored instance? I've noticed if "Use 3dmax instances" is unticked it doesn't happen but it does if ticked; so probably it's only about 3dsmax plugin. I remember Mihnea saying that option sometimes breaks things.

The strange behaviour about using the same map in both global bump and BSDF bump still happens without using 3dsmax instances.
