Still thinking of maybe making an end cap on the front instead of a aluminium covering plate, a covering plate is much cheaper, but a cap looks much better
So, have you decided if this shape will make it into production despite the added cost? I think having the nose modeled accurately to the real thing would be beneficial to a simulator since it will have a greater recognition factor once a trainee sits in the real deal. The tail section is probably less important- I think..

Indeed Diamond also build their own, they are using the real fuselage, fantastic but very expensive.
there are a few more btw, but the thing is that we are using only our own components.
I will cut the nose and tail section btw, the vacuum machine that shapes the parts only allows about 2.4x2.4 meters.
