When I was in the army I used to pilot a YPR765.
After that time 1990 I've never drove one any more, and that's a pity..

So I decided to build a 1/5 scale YPR765 PRI, it will be about 1005mm long and I guess about 200kg
It's going to be a 6mm aluminium body with 1.5mm armoured plating

Build in Solid Works using only sheet metal, weight up till now about 32KG

I've modelled the periscopes and frame to put them in to the YPR

first the real situation





and here my solution in 1.5mm steel







The bottom side will of the periscope will be printed in abs, and the clear insert will be made of perspex, the top will also be 1.5mm steel
