I've setup a render node using ubuntu 12.04. Everything is working great except I can't get the node to auto start on boot. I have an upstart script that gets xvfb up and running, and an upstart script to start mxnetwork -node on the xvfb display. when I log in to the node the mxnetwork process shows as running, but it doesn't show up in the network monitor. If I run the exact same command from the command line the node pops up in the manager. Any ideas? anyone been able get the node up on boot without logging into the machine?

Can you try enabling autologin?
