hello,
happy Christmas to all....Problem I have, I can not select instances. I have imported sketchup tree consisting of trunk and many leaves ( as instances) into Studio . I can select trunk, but not leaves...so i can not move tree as a whole.
I understand they can not be grouped.I've been reading forum but did not find answer.

To work with instances, you need to enable the "Instances Selection Mode" in the main toolbar:

Note that only instances of the currently-selected object may be selected, and that it may be much easier to select multiple instances using the Instances panel, rather than by selecting in the 3D viewport. There is more information on working with instances in Studio on this page. I would also mention that in the case where each leaf is being exported as a separate instance, it may be more efficient to consolidate the leaves of a tree by exploding them in SketchUp, and then re-joining into a new component. Reason being, taken to the logical extreme, where an object is made of a single triangle, an instance of that object will actually be heavier, data-wise, than the object itself. So it is better, not to mention being easier to work with in Studio, to have some thousands of triangles in the object being instanced.
