De nada, but take a copy of the old version. It's possible ve have some bugs.
Many thing have changes in the mxs scene description a it's possible we made somethig wrong.

Hi to all MatadorLight users. Important note.
To Make the new version of Matador Light compatible with your previews scenes you must input the "tab" Key on the Absorbtion and on the scattering input cells.
This why Maxwell Beta needs the Scattering and Absorbtion parameters even if equal to zero.

If you follow this instructions your old scenes will render correctly.

i'm not sure i understand. i presume you mean the abs and scattering fields in the material editer. If so i have pressed the tab key in each field - still the same yellow then black sploges. I then changed all the calue to equal each other but still no change to the render

Hallo,

I use Rhino, but some features are not working there - diaphgram, tiling ... .

I would like to use Matador light. Rhino export MXS files. I is possible to open mxs files direct in matador light? So, I could apply most of the materials and could modify a little bit it in ML only. So, if I change the model, most materials don't needed to apply again in ML.

Micha you can change the focal distance in Rhino, "Show camera" and move the focal point

Yes, but Matador dosn't use the Rhino view. What I have done: Rhini_Export obj -> ML_New scene -> ML_Load object.

HI !

First of all thx a LOt for devolopers of MATADOR program

I have one little question : U people who render in matador can u tell me how u see on model textures or i can say what is the best way to see how texture in tiled on my model. Is only way to do render preview ? Cos this method is slow dont u think !

Anyway - matador is great and keep on good work.

can't open 3DS files in the new version... an exception error or somthing pops up... didn't try other formats yet.

It is so quite here. Hmm, can nobody tell me, how I can connect Rhino and MatadorLight? I test it again and export three objects per obj to ML, but if I change the Focal distance, nothing is changing. Maybe, it is a bug.

It could be great to get ML and Rhino together, because Texture tiling is not possible in Rhino now and nobody can tell how long it will be not possible.

What do you think of implementing fbx format that is coming to became an interchange format between 3d files?
