Sorry for this simple question, but how do I launch Maxwell network manager without going through Rhino ? Currently I am having to open Rhino first, then click on the Network render icon in Rhino - then quit Rhino for my node machine.

You should find a link at Start > All Programs > Next Limit > Maxwell 2 > Maxwell Manager. Technically, that just starts mxnetwork.exe in your Maxwell 2 folder, with -manager as an argument. You can find more command line arguments by opening a command prompt, navigating to Maxwell 2, and typing mxnetwork -help.
