Hello Maxwell renderers!
We released HDR Light Studio 4 today - it comes in a single edition with all features and connectivity - plus at an affordable price point for more users. The new LightPaint feature enables lighting artists to click in the rendered view directing the light to the exact location where it is needed on their models. Slashing the time taken to light a 3D scene and enabling the precise placement of lighting and reflections.
See it in action here with KeyShot, but exactly the same process can be used with Maxwell Studio or with our new Live plug-in for Maya where instant lighting updates are passed to the Maxwell FIRE view. http://vimeo.com/49753201
We lit this shot in Maxwell Studio using HDR Light Studio 4 in only a few minutes, we’ll make a video of this process soon for Maxwell Studio users to see.

Do check out our new web site for full information, and all the new compatibility: http://www.hdrlightstudio.com
Compatibility note: As of now Maxwell Studio on the Mac doesn't support the HDR Light Studio 4 Mac edition, but we hear compatibility is on its way! But right now you can use HDR Light Studio 4 Mac edition with Maya and Maxwell FIRE!
