#360234
there seems to be a major issue which seems to be material related.
in my setup (see my first post of this thread) maxwell / modo seems to lose the track to some materials.
if you open modo, with that "corrupted" material file and are in modos "render" diplayport, it will cause modo immediatly to crash.
you have to open the file in any displayport window of modo, fe "model quad" other than "render" and than disable the corrupted material.
if you reload the maxwell material (throuhg the maxwell modo plugin window) it will work again. but you have to reload?

please help to resolve this issue? it is impossible to work professionally on projects if this occurs often!

a working setup project would suddenly occur to have corrupted material files after adding a light.
it would then not be possible anymore to open in "render" displayport without modo crashing. only following the procedure described above (disabling and reloading the materials) would make it possible to continue working in modos "render" displayport, without crash

same problem... try to work with direct materials in modo but it makes my modo crash.
Btw, is it possible to export to the studio groups? I made a big work on classifying my items in groups but it seems to not export them.
