At first I didn't understand how they were recording images of light as it would take time for that light to hit the camera sensor but then explains they take millions of images and synchronise them!

There's an interesting image of ripples at the end where they're recording the image so fast the direction of light travel seems to be reversed (i.e. they're seem to be recording faster than the speed of light!)
