I have a problem in that I use Maxwell both at my studio and at a client's office on both Macs and Windows. I keep all my data on dropbox, and have access to my files everwhere.
Either through my bad habits or lack of knowledge, my library of mxm's has become difficult to work with in this situation.
I have set the path on all the computers to search for mxm's and textures. The problem is that I keep my mxm's in subfolders and the program doesn't see the textures folder if it's located in a nested folder.
I wonder if we could have a button in the preferences to search subfolders within the path specified for mxm's? Or if there's something obvious I'm missing I'd love to learn how to handle things in this situation.
BTW, I'm using Maxwell with both Bonzai and 3dStudio Max, and the problem occurs with both programs and both OS's.
Thanks,
Rick
