I made a render and after 17 hours it was good for me. But there is a glass object that has some noise. I resumed the render, but I don´t need the whole scene to be rendered, just the region where is located the glass object.
I tried it stopping the render than changing the camera render parameter from "full" to "region" and then saving the mxi file with other name, and then resuming it.
Bu t it doesn´t work. Is it possible to do that? Am I making something wrong? Is ther another way to do that?

No, you can't do that currently. You have to start a new region render.
