what's the time comparison of cleaning a revit (.fbx) model vs. creating it from a set of .dwg's?

a benign question.....

Well, that's what I'm waiting for. But I'm afraid Revit is evolving in the wrong direction. As I said before, the concept of having an intelligent software app that synchronize plans and views from a 3d model Is great but as an architect I need a tool that help me to design dynamically not a lot of dialog boxes and complex families for design a simple stair. Sorry but not, Revit and the others are not for me.

Jose, I agree with you. Doing stairs, railings and creating families really sucks. Much work needs to be done on those areas and others. But your statement that is better doing that in 2D is plain wrong. The benefits of BIM are way beyond having a nice 3d rendering. Until the perfect 3D/BIM app is available we use what we have and we take avantage of what's available today.
