Thanks to this thread I finally decided to download and try this version of Windows.

I've only played around with it for about an hour now, but I have mixed feelings about it. At this moment I'm wishing 3D was my livelihood rather than a hobby. I work as a network administrator, and I'm imagining the user resistance I'll encounter when this is eventually deployed. The resistance to the Windows 7 and Office 2007 roll-out last year will be a joke by comparison.

So far I haven't seen any evidence to indicate that it would increase productivity, and I think most end users would find a migration to Linux more intuitive.

I'll have to go out to restaurants for lunch instead of eating at my desk, just to get a break from all the end users storming into my office to complain.
