We have several network nodes setup around the office and have run into 2 issues.

If the output directory for either the Image file, or MXI is typo-ed/non-existent, then the render will go through, but the file will never be generated. There is no check done by mxnetwork to verify the paths.

Is there a way to change the path at the point of after render, but waiting to output... and resume/kickstart the render to output the file? Or do I go to each node, get the partial MXI, and combine?

The second issue is when 2+ people have mxnetwork open, they may not see the online nodes, one person might, the other doesn't. I assume this is due to the manager running on multiple machines, one managing the nodes, and the other managing nothing. Is there anything I can do about this?

My only thought is to write a wrapper that calls mxnetwork with parameters to render on the network with hard coded output and node IPs.

You should only run Manager on one computer, and access the jobs via Monitor (where multiple users can have simultaneous access).

If network can't write the final MXI/image output, it will tell you in the Manager log window where it has saved them - it saves them in its temp folder. So you don't have to copy/merge the MXI files from each node. The way it happens is the Manager starts collecting each MXI from the nodes anyway and transfers it to it's temp folder, does the merging and then tries to write this final MXI to the output path.
