Magnus,
I bought Cannon T3i camera with a 60 mm macro lense, and took this picture
of my watch, I will be changing this 60 mm macro lense for a 100 mm macro lense
as I found out, it will be easy to work with a bit of distance form the object with
a 100mm lense. I am newbe for this camera & lense. I will be trying this setup in
Maxwell to try and see how the render will look. any macro render tips will be
appriciated

Yes, get a tripod The DOF can be razor thin with a 100mm macro lens. You need to have a way to keep the camera still and focus exactly where you want.
