Congrats for the new website, looks much better than the old one!

Congrats for you work guys.
Question: Is it possible to load a model from max, c4d or maya with hair and apply materials in studio.
Or is it only renderable via the relative plugin?

You need to generate the hair in one of those applications, Render (so you get an MXS file saved to disk) or Save an MXS and then import that MXS in Studio. Then you can apply materials as you wish to the hair in Studio and render it from there also if you want. You'll find more info about mapping the hair on the support site, just search for "hair".

How do I render the Hair using Cinema 4D R13? Should I add some new tag or is it meant to work directly using the Cinema plugin (in my case)? I just tried using a sphere with hair and the hair doesn't render?

Read about Cinema 4D here http://www.maxwellrender.com/forum/view ... 03&t=37606

It works pretty well!

Hi MS,

Thanks for the tips. Please have a look at my testrender in that thread. I posted a render of JDHill's example scene and it still doesn't render any hair... ? I'm using Mac OSX 10.6.8 and Cinema R13 Studio.
