As you can see...

What are these black dots? I use Cinemaxwell. There ale two emitters and plastic and metal. Walls are diffuse. Sampling level 11 reaced in 2h.

Do somebody know what is this??

I use cinemaxwell too..
these have appeared heaps in my rendering too,but only if i use dielectric, diffuse and metal shader in one scene together..
i´m wondering as well how to get rid of these?

Bad news for me, if it is a bug. Looks like very expected beta would be full of bugs like Cinemaxwell... :cry:

But I hope it is not...

me too, but im getting them around any metalic object . Im also using maya, so this isnt just restricted to Cinemaxwell methinks.

I also get some with Rhinoll but it was dur to some SSS objects. Check your plastic setting and remove all SSS. May it will work.

This flaw is acceptable for a software, but I cannot say anything as it's still in beta ver....I think a tiny PS cloning step would erase the dots just fine.

Those black dots all realy bad. I`m still on 1.33, i will wait for next patch and the go for 1.2
