Please post here anything else (not relating to Maxwell technical matters)

Interesting to see Evermotion is branching into the render engine business (unless it's developed by someone else and they're just re-distributing it, but I can't find anywhere that says that). Good to see they've chosen unbiased. Will be interesting to follow, a real competitor to Lux.

I was not expecting anything like this from the Evermotion guys. They must be tired of producing models so they are trying to find new ways of surviving. :)
Considering it's just for 3dsmax it looks pretty good so far. It will be interesting to see where this one is heading..

well to tell you .. I am not sure of what I see in your example you posted.. the Dof looks like a comp.. difficult to say..

but sure Arch people love these types of control... as for the rest, it looks like a Modo render a little bit... not sure either..

in my taste, saying Physical render engine.. and then taking shortcuts just gives a non physical engine.. but luckily Maxwell will stay unbiased to the bone...

At the end it all depends of your needs.. it should always fit your needs.. nuff say.. I am comfortable with Maxwell superior quality render engine.. so I am ok.. 8)

I hear you Alexx.. no hate, no gun, no hitler costume, no king-kong mask... just a preference..

Bokeh and such are not important for what I do.. so.. but for some people it might be important to be able to fiddle with it.. no problem.. all tools are welcome.. the more tools we have.. the more impressive render we'll see all over..

now we can go all back to normal activity... hehe :D
