Indeed, that's what I mean by " except for the cross section cuts " those are not perpendicular, still looking for a way to do that correctly, normally it should work, but the nose tip wouldn't thicken when it was cut, looking to solve that :)

well it might not be the same but in Modo, the thicken command woks good but look like yours if I inadvertently input some offset.. but I am sure it must be very different.. hehe :D

it is correct the way you see it, I have only thickened that surface, so all sides are perpendicular to that surface, it's because of the straight cut parts that it looks wrong now.
I will post another when I have them all perpendicular, than you'll see that it's correct, :) although not with a draft angle like you would need when making it for a aluminium mold.

The rear looks correct while I'm not perfectly comfortable about the front, yet. I guess the ugly OGL shading is misleading me. Could you render small closeups from different angles? Some heights still look slanted to me...
