Half Life wrote:The logical argument for being able to do it in Studio would be to standardize the tool so that the various implementations of hair/fur in any given software package didn't come into play too much when a user switches from one to another... well, that and it would be cool for people like Lars and myself who use the ZBrush model in Studio with no intermediate package
Oh, that would be nice...but would probably require a "haircutting and styling" functionality in Maxwell Studio...and wind simulation.
Or maybe it can be done with materials and color/lenght/direction maps? Never worked with hair in software....not sure what solutions there are out there. Such a solution could probably be used for grass too, something for the archwiz renderpeople here?
Back to Wolverine:
The color mixer part (I was suprised there, it looked intentional to me) / bruises gives it a cool feel of "just after a battle"... maybe you could try one version of him with his civilian clothes: Jeans, boots and one of these upper body options: t-shirt / sleveless t-shirt / no top.
(feels like a waste to cover up a really cool fighter texture

)
