Not a bad photo you got there but it could use some improvements in composition.

Here's a few pics from this week, just misc stuff i ran across.. they are architecture (the operahouse), beer and a woman.

Magnus, 2 of those 3 you mentioned are my favorite subjects. I'll let you figure out which 2. LOL

I am going tonight to pick up my new camera. My old Canon digital rebel (300D) just does not shoot the same quality it did when it was new. Time for an upgrade. My new camera is the Canon 7D. Can't wait to get my hands on it (like beer and women!).

Hehe, i can only assume the most logical of the two would be beer and women. Nobody cares about them stupid buildings..
Congrats on the new 7D, it's a true workhorse and the same one as i shoot with. Make sure you spend lots of time reading the manual from cover to cover and understand the sophisticated AF system. Lots of users have been dissapointed by the 7D just because they could not figure out how to work the AF system.

here are all my SD cards



i have scanned hardly any of these in over the years. today i pulled out a drawer of developed film (shown above) and decided to look through it and see what was in there.

here's a few from a 120 roll of provia100f (E6) taken some time in spring of 2008. they are just scanned in and then resized and optimized for web purposes. i didn't bother spotting the dust and hairs from the scans.















here are some new SD cards i picked up today:

here are a few more i scanned in earlier today. these were taken the morning after hurricane Ike came through Houston, TX.
shot on kodak E100vs (it typically shoots better in direct sun, but i remember it was already loaded into one of the film backs at the time so i went ahead and finished the roll)







this is where i often pick up lunch. it still has the same roof as you see in the picture. although it's now held in place with duct tape and a suspension cable that is tied to what used to be a functioning fluorescent fixture.
