Looks like alpha maps do not work when being placed inside an SSS material.
Can anyone confirm this?

Why wasn't it fixed - it was one of the main reasons, I was waiting for this update so much

Have this issue been fixed in 2.7?
Cause 'Bugfixes' list mentions "SSS with Layer opacity". But according to a quick test, the problem is still there.

Sorry, this is not fixed in 2.7.0.0. The mentioned fix is talking about to another condition.

More specifically the bug fixed was about layer weights affecting a layer below it that has SSS, even if the top layer weight was set to 0.
