There are only 3 emitters in the scene. Two are the square white ceiling tiles and the third is hidden above/behind the ceiling and is shining down the rear wall (fuzzy area of question). All are white with varying degrees of luminosity. The scene environment is an .hdr image I found online. That's it in a nutshell.

Bubbaloo - I can certainly post a link to the wood material. Sorry........but how do I go about doing so? :oops:

I would help here but I can't see the problem -- everything looks fine to me... all I see is a semi-rough reflective surface. About the only way to change that is to lower the roughness to reduce it or add some anisotropy to break it up.
