Hi!

Is there any chance to hava a clipping plane other than the z-clip in Maxwell 2.5 renderings with Rhino 4? I learned, that the Rhino viewport-clipping-planes are not used by Maxwell. I need a clipping in y-direction.
Is there any trick or workaround maybe with an object with a clipping-material assigned or some fancy Rhino functions?
I plan to animate the objects "out" of the clipping with Bongo (the Rhino animation plugin). That's why I cannot simply trim the geometry.

Any ideas?

Sorry, Maxwell currently supports only camera-based z-clipping. You might try assigning a matte material to some planes, but I'm not sure if that would suit your purposes.
