Hi there

here's a few shots of the Passat logo. I got the 2d eps from www.brandsoftheworld.com (really nice for that kinda thing). I thought it'd be a 10min task to make it 3d, but the logo had some minor errors in it that turned out to be a major problem so it took like a day or so Then there was issues with the maxwell mesh, I experienced that on my yoyo aswell. My rhino mesh is great but maxwell omits some polys and I got a few holes in the reflections. Worked around that by rebuilding the surfaces in question. Hope that it's a maxwell (not rhinoll) bug so it'll be gone with the beta!!

n1tram: I actually modeled the whole car to the same level of detail I did the logo, I just could not be bothered rendering it yet

yeah you're right tom. I thought those images were a little dark... I have rendered with slightly different settings, now the sun is reflected and the shadows aren't as long.
