I am installing new updates to SolidWorks soon and can't see any documentation about this. Does it work with SW 2011 yet?

Yes, the 2.5 plugin supports SW2011. For future reference, you can generally find the current plugin compatibility chart by going to www.maxwellrender.com and following the Product > Plug-ins links.
