Under Window > Layout you can load a different layout to reset your windows.

I've also got a question: is there anyone around here who's using an Intel Core I7 970 3.20 GHz Hexa Core CPU? I've currently got an Intel Core i7 quad CPU 2.67 GHz - overclocked to 3.3 GHz - and am wondering if the Hexa Core really makes a noticeable difference in Maxwell rendering speed?

I'm using a 980x (3.33x6 HT) right now and it's wonderful. As far as I can tell it's the best processor available right now if you're doing both modeling and rendering on the same computer. Here are some benchmark scores from this computer and a couple others at work I've run Benchwell on, compare these to your own findings.

Q9550 (2.83x4) 17m22s
i7 860 (2.8x4 HT) 10m03s
Server (Older dual xeons, not sure on model) 6m19s
i7 980x (3.33x6 HT) 5m36s

i7 980x @ 4,2GHz ~4:44min BM ~2250
(i don't have a 4GHz score)

so maxwell is scaling nearly linear compared to the number of cores
