I know, and i thought the same when i pulled the pics back in the PC and saw them upclose. You can see each particle of smoke there. Somehow i thought the particles would be much smaller and not this clearly visible but they are there, you should see a 100% crop of it..

Here are a few more smokey shots from very late last night.. these got a bit different postprocessing than my other testpics.

I guarantee if you posted that as a render, people would tell you the smoke is wrong, that it's too grainy.
