hi .. i got this error which prevents me from rendering on maya 2009

i have checked the env vars, but i'm not sure if this actually was the issue.

i have downloaded the newest 2.1 version again, reinstalled and updated to the last maya plugin ..

any idea ?

oh, and i cannot export to mxs:

What's your "Frame/Animation ext." field set to? Maxwell uses the file extension to know what file format to use, so the extension must be at the end of the image name. You can't use name, or name.#, or name.ext.#. It has to be name.ext, name#.ext, name_#.ext or name.#.ext.

oh wow .. this was the issue indeed .. i have used the other extension for rendering animations with mental ray just a few days before.
