These links will remain active for about another week then I'm taking them down so I can include the sets with my video tutorials for Maxwell... after that they will not be available, so if you think you want them get them now.

Best,
Jason.

You are very welcome -- so many generous people here have shared their skills, knowledge, and hard work over the years... I'm happy to be able to give something back.

I am very curious to see what you all come up with using these.

Best,
Jason.

Thanks and you are welcome -- I was suprised to find out there are so many different types of velvet out there so I don't think it's possible to have a "perfect" velvet but I do like mine for the type of velvet I use. As I point out in the material description it is based on the wizard velvet to a certian degree.

Car Paint was one that gave me fits as it is just impossible to create within the parameters of what we have to work with in the material editor right now (in the future who knows) -- combined with the fact that car paint forumlations vary from year to year and manufacturer to manufacturer... so the best I could do was get a reasonable appoximation of a consensus car paint. From there it is up to the user to tweak for thier specific needs... which is one of the reasons I made it a one BSDF material, to keep modification a simple process.

Best,
Jason.

You are very welcome.

I just updated the renders with a few new ones -- the "SSS plastic" is rendered with the standard emitter which I knew would result in noise but I wanted to keep the results constant with the only variable being the materials.

I have "Tile" and "Painted Wall" renders cooking, but I had to change the scene as they didn't make any sense on a dragon (sorry Tom  ).

Best,
Jason.

:) They are coming nice. Except you should avoid rendering SSS with emitters until it's fixed.
