That is an awesome shot, so crisp and great colors (her eyes!)

Regarding the lightning: i used a tripod, a rather narrow aperture with low ISO 200/400 and manually exposed (BULB) repeatedly, always releasing right after a lightning happened. There weren't many though, because i missed the best part assembling my equipment. I'll check a weather forecast next time :P

Hehe thanks Adrian :) i liked her too and i snapped as many pics of her as i could the few seconds she was coming out of the pool. Guess you could say i also drowned in her eyes when i took her pics.. i got some more from the same series here below in lower resolution. Higher resolution shots can be seen on my Flickr page.

Aha i see, you used Bulbmode to grab those. Hm interesting, i have to try that sometimes when i bought a remote to see if i can get any.. when you get some more of those sexy lightning shots do post, they are lovely to look at. :)

I think i would submit the girl photos to a contest Magnus, they're that good. What great dynamic range you can get out of the 7D.

What gave it away, the snot shader?

To a contest ? heh, i don't know.. haven't thought about that. But now when you mention it then hmm maybe it should try to do that if i find a suitable competition. And btw Adrian, thanks! :)
The 7D is real good and it can handle just about any situation you throw at it without crying. Sure it's not fullframe but it does a great job and i'm satisfied with the output quality i get from it. A camera well worth the price it cost. We have a rainforest zoo here in Gothenburg where it's very humid and rainy indoors, lots of trees and animals. And i brought the 7D in there with a non-weathersealed lens and it handled it without a issue, even the lens survived. :)

Wanna see something new.. here's a few i caught today, there's a big football challenge called Gothia Cup with teams from all around the world now in the city, some 50-60,000 kids are playing against eachother and i caught this at the openingsceremony tonight in poor diffuse lighting from a clouded eveningsky.

Edit: I'm adding a few more from today in this post instead of making yet another one. I don't wanna spam this thread with only my pics. :(

Good thing atleast you keep me company here in this thread Ludenhud.
Your woman sure is a looker on your photos, the camera seems to like her :D
Are you using softboxes, umbrellas and reflectors for your portraits or is it just natural light ?

Btw, thanks. :)

Edit: I'm throwing in these two, enjoy..
