I was just a third party watching the game, completely unbiased opinion as I wasn't really routing for either team since England was out early.

Sure, there were those few hard plays where a Spanish player took a foot to the chest, but that was early on and they used it to their advantage by falling all over the place whenever a player was anywhere near them. That's as bad as giving a foot to the chest if you ask me.

That's not a normal match and the referee did not know how to deal with that; some red cards on time make better for fair play than too many useless scoldings.

American Rugby (not kidding) there is no ball in this game, and foot is not used so often.

Football may be too complex of a sport for those that are used to the extreme simplicity of soccer.

there is nothing about complex rules or plays.

it is all about name. football is when people play a game with a ball with their feet.
when people chasing egg with their hands it is not football anymore.

american rugby is very easy and plain game. get egg and run or pass at least 10 yards in 4 tries.
but players in america are too ..... (not smart) to remember how to play offense and defence in one game so they have to switch with every change possesion off egg.

so I can understand that handling a ball with only feet and head are to complex in states so when ancestors tried to play real football from UK , anything that works was to get ball in hands and run as fast as they can. Only name stayed. poor and sad.

It's ok. There are those that prefer checkers over chess too. My kids love checkers, but chess not so much.

That's exactly the reason why I popped the question - first they had the small footnote on their promotion that it is valid till 25th and on monday the 26th the prices are back to normal and now they 'prolong' it to the 23rd? that's 2 days less than before...
