I'm a bit gutted for Netherlands... Their 3rd World Cup final and they still haven't won it. I predicted Spain would get another soft 1-0, like all their matches leading up to this.

Saying that, they were definitely the better team and won it fair and square which is nice to see. They deserved it this year! Congratulations! Almost tempted to get my own Maxwell license for home... I can only currently use Maxwell at work, but at 50% off it's a great deal. Plus we only have v1.7 at work so it'd be nice to get the full-fledged new one.

So many bad calls and flops from the Spanish players. The game was definitely underwhelming to be quite honest, but I do understand that the teams were playing a bit more cautious because neither team wanted to lose, of course.

So many bad calls and flops from the Spanish players.

IMHO Spain was just sheltering from the brutal tackles from Holland. They deserved at least one more red card (for the karate kick). Besides, Dutch players were flocking to the referee for every action.

Yesterday Iniesta showed his legs on TV and they were completely black! Xavi Alonso said that was the most painful foul he has received in his whole career.
...c'mooon, footbal is not like that and Netherland players are elite players playing in every important league in the world, they didn't need to use this tactics.
