...was used to make this image? Sketchup possibly?
Or even better...did one of you guys here do it?
I was contacted by a client that likes this style of illustration but they do not know who did it.

Thanks for any help...RonB

Could it be Piranesi? or Impression?

i think i've played that sims game before.... but i don't remember making it to that level in particular.

don't know of anything that outputs directly like that, but my guess is you could do base in sketchup and then take into illustrator/photoshop to "spruce" it up a bit?

Hmm, I don't know. Too much work in Photoshop to spend that much time with colors, shadows, textures etc. I think it had to come out of a render that way.

Interesting looking though...

Anyone else willing to venture a guess?

Thanks, Ron

nice one RonB

some years back I was looking for this solution but today you made me start thinking;)
so I figured out a nice and easy sketchup solution
please don't mind the "swith" spelling;)

the tool

should work for you, at least for the floorplan images.
I think the look of the original might be the result of using piranesi. you can try sketchup styles and all the photoshop stuff to make these look more 'handmade'. my examples are raw.
Maybe the shadows should be cast from the direction of shearing to minimize its look anomalities?;)

and some more complex models from 3dwarehouse
